"Golden Girl" in Silver: The lace on these dresses is so fun, with cascading gold sequins in varying sizes. This one features silver taffeta, a gorgeous shade with a beautiful but subtle shimmer.
The bodice pattern is a keyhole open back, with ribbon ties at the top. The waist is stretchy, and has loops sewn in at the sides to loop a ribbon sash through (sash is included), to cinch it at the waist.
The sleeves are a poofy elbow length, with an armhole that is generous enough to allow flexible sizing, but is not at all revealing at the side/chest of the bodice.
The skirting consists of one layer of lace, one layer of taffeta, and underneath that, 4 layers of crinoline that can be separated and poofed! (and under that, a satin lining, so the crinoline does not touch little legs!)
*Do not iron
*Wash in cold (tied up in a sheet), hang to air dry.
*Steam on low, without making direct contact with the lace. (You can still iron the taffeta on the skirt if needed, but do not iron the bodice or the lace).
