How the Traveling Dress Rental Works

We’ve made renting a couture dress simple and stress-free! Here’s exactly what to expect:

1. Book Your Dress

Choose your rental date and check out — that secures your spot.

2. Your Dress Arrives Friday

All rentals ship on Monday and arrive Friday at your normal UPS delivery time.
Please don’t schedule Friday-morning sessions unless UPS typically delivers to you early.

3. Weekend Shooting Window

Your rental includes use of the dress for:

• Friday evening

• Saturday

• Sunday

Enjoy your session(s) and create magic!

4. Sunday Night – Prep for Return

Before shipping the dress onward:

• Steam any tulle underskirts.

• Pack everything exactly as it arrived (same box/bag/tissue paper).

• Make sure the headband/crown and any accessories (like a hoop skirt) are included.

Sunday evening you'll receive an email from us with your pre-paid UPS label.
Remove the old label, attach the new one, and you’re ready for drop-off.

5. Monday – Ship It Back

Drop the dress off at a UPS Store (not an access point, and never USPS) before 5pm local time.

You must:

• Get a receipt (this is your proof of shipment).

• Email a quick photo of that receipt to us.

• Watch the tracking email you receive — if anything looks off, let us know Monday night.

And that’s it! Now share your images in the VIP group so we can all swoon over your gorgeous session.

Important Timing Policy

• Thursday and early-Friday sessions are not allowed — Friday is arrival day.

• If UPS delivers late on Friday, no refunds/re-rents are offered.

• If your dress arrives Saturday, you may choose:

  • A free extended rental (if available), or

  • A new rental date on that dress.

Dress Care: Do’s & Don’ts

While Wearing the Dress, Please Avoid:

• Food and drinks

• Animals

• Climbing trees

• Lying or sitting directly on the ground

• Damp, muddy, sandy, or dirty locations

• Letting the hem drag

• Water of any kind (lake, ocean, pond, etc.)

Things You Should Do:

• Always lift the skirt when moving. The model should NEVER walk or run with the hem of the dress dragging on the ground.

• Place something clean under the model before sitting on a log/bench/etc.

• Remove shoes when dressing feet-first.

• Message us immediately if the dress gets dirty — we’ll walk you through cleaning.

Not following dress-care rules can result in removal from the program.

Accessory & Packing Notes

• Every children's dress includes a coordinating headband or crown. Some Adult gowns may--Check that it’s included when you receive the dress and again before shipping it out.

• Missing headbands require a $100 replacement + rush shipping fee.

• Dresses are deep-cleaned and repacked every ~4 weekends.
  If your box arrives damaged, please replace it with a similar-sized box.

Terms & Conditions

By renting, you agree to the following:

You are responsible for 100% of the dress’s retail value if it is lost, stolen, or damaged due to:

• Incorrect shipping address you provided

• Package theft after delivery

• Any situation where tracking shows “delivered”

Before delivery, the package is our responsibility.
During transit back, you are protected only if you shipped via the correct UPS Store and have your receipt.
No receipt = no proof of shipment, and you are liable.

A Few Final Notes

• You are welcome to use our mannequin images for marketing your upcoming session.
